Timber
creates spaces
The project integrated the existing concrete base of the old building and transformed the inner courtyard into a light-flooded atrium. With 4,600 m² of KLH® – CLT, the ecological footprint was minimized. The lightness of the timber made it possible to add three stories, which would not have been possible with concrete. The precise planning and assembly made the construction particularly efficient.
