KLH US Holding Corp. was formed in 2014 in Portland as a specialist supplier of cross-laminated timber panels; we provide consultation, design assist and material supply services to the construction industry.
Our team provide expertise in cross-laminated timber construction from design concept to material delivery; and our collaborative working approach with the whole project team enables us to develop sustainable and cost effective structural solutions when involved at the earliest stages of the design process.
Our in-house team, in collaboration with the client and project design team, take the initial set of architectural drawings to find a KLH 'timber solution' for the building.
Responsibility
An increased awareness of environmental and energy issues has increasingly brought wood to the forefront of modern building construction. And, with good reasons: timber naturally sequesters carbon and lends itself to energy-efficient designs.
Building with KLH® - CLT is therefore a valuable contribution to climate and environmental protection. With PEFC certification, and FSC certification available, KLH® can guarantee that the wood used in KLH® - CLT is sourced exclusively from sustainably managed forests.
Also, KLH® focuses on energy-saving and environmentally friendly production methods. Production is safe for our employees and has no effects harmful to human health whatsoever. KLH® - CLT has very low VOC emissions, and can be disposed of by burning and not leave behind any more residue than non-laminated timber.
